What battery to use for a Solar Panel Briefcase?

Chad R asked:

I have a 13watt Solar Panel Briefcase.
What is the best battery to charge with this panel?
A car battery? A golf cart battery? …. any suggestions?
I plan on making a small battery grid.
Thanks Ed, …but I still need a good reccomendation for what battery it can charge. I plan on using it to power my laptop and other small things in my non-electrical cottage. I don’t want to run any of these things off of it directly, as I don’t want to risk damaging them if there isn’t enough current.

From which website can I get a solar panel rated at 12V or above?

{flick} asked:

I’m doing a DIY project which needs a solar panel rated at 12V or above. I’m ready to spend anything lesser than $100. Here in India, there is no place where I can get them. So can anyone help me find a website which sells them and also has shipping to India? Thanks!

The World’s Fastest Growing Energy Source

Medialink asked:

construction costs for wind-powered generators can run double those of fossil fuel plants, supporters counter that once wind facilities are constructed, there are no fuel costs, because wind, of course, is free. Likewise, they say that since maintenance is considered minimal, wind-power costs are competitive. Experts say it’s relatively easy to harness the energy in wind- essentially you put a rotor on top of a tall tower, the wind blows the rotor, which is connected to a shaft, which drives an …
